Raise Your Voice is a fun, inclusive community choir based in Colchester
open to anyone who wants to sing for joy, not perfection.
We sing new music, throwbacks from the 90's and 00's, and pretty much anything that gets people smiling - no auditions, no sheet music, just good vibes and great songs.

We believe everyone deserves to experience the joy of singing in harmony with others - regardless of background, experience or ability - we are here to make that experience accesible, uplifting and fun.
Our Vision
Our vision is to shake up what people think a choir looks and sounds like. We want to create a space that attracts younger voices - people who love to sing but have never thought traditional choirs were for them. Through bold song choices, a fresh, vibrant atmosphere and a focus on community over perfection, we hope to build a modern choir that feels exciting, inclusive and relevent. We are especially passionate about bringing incredible new music and artists to the masses!
Our Director
I'm Joe - the founder of "Raise Your Voice" and a West End Perfomer with over 20 years experience. I've always loved the magic that happens when people sing together, and I'm passionate about making that experience fun, accessible and totally non-intimidating. Whether you regularly sing on stage, or only ever in the shower - you're welcome here.
